About Portfolio Evaluations

A portfolio evaluation is performed by a Florida-certified teacher in order to show educational gains throughout the year. The portfolio should include samples of any writings, worksheets, books, or creative materials used or developed by the student and a log of educational activities that is made contemporaneously with the instruction and that designates by title any reading materials used.

How It Works

Evaluations are offered in person, via Zoom, or by a simple phone call! During the evaluation, I will speak with both parent and child regarding the content of the portfolio. I strive to maintain a relaxed atmosphere filled with humor and encouragement. There will be opportunities to discuss ways to strengthen areas of struggle and discuss curriculum options. This is a time for both parent and child to share their accomplishments and achievements made throughout the year.
